US rapper The Game is heading to the North East next week - and you could be there for free.

We’ve got five pairs of tickets to give away for his gig at O2 Academy Newcastle on Thursday, February 11 as part of his UK tour.

The Grammy-nominated artist, whose hits include How We Do, Hate It Or Love It and One Blood, said: “UK audiences are some of the best in the world – and I’m ready to get back over there. This tour is gonna have so much energy, it’s about to be crazy!”

Hailing from Compton, Los Angeles, The Game has gone on to become one of the biggest hip hop artists of the past decade.

As well as the success of his singles, he’s worked with some of the biggest names in music including Dr Dre, P Diddy, Big Sean, J Cole and Chris Brown.

He’s been nominated for two Grammy Awards, two BET Awards, two MTV Video Music Awards and three Billboard Awards.

The Game’s most recent album, The Documentary 2 ,was released in October last year and features guest appearances from Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Q-Tip, Diddy, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, Drake, Dej Loaf, Future, Jelly Roll and Kanye West, among others.
