Wearside infrastructure specialist Fastflow has taken to the stage.

For a second year, the firm was the principle sponsor of TVE Global Sustainability Film Awards at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (Bafta) in Picadilly.

CEO Neil Armstrong urged the high-profile gathering to take responsibility and work to make change.

“If we really care about sustainability we can’t think about tomorrow,” he said.

“We have to think about the world in 50 years time; our children’s world and their children’s world.

“Let’s draw on the example set by the film makers here today who have chosen to throw their creative genius behind the planet’s biggest issue. Let’s not just be inspired by these great films.

“Let’s do something; every one of us, to help create a greener, fairer world.”
