Boxing champion Tyson Fury launched into a foul-mouth tirade against two of his fellow professional fighters during his visit to South Tyneside.
A video interview taken before the 27-year-old greeted his fans at a sportsman dinner at the Hedworth Hall, South Shields, saw David Haye and Anthony Joshua become the target of abusive remarks.
The sell-out event took place on Thursday with those attending hailing it a “great night.”
But, when asked about the bout with Haye which never took place, the fighter known as the ‘Gypsy King’ made a disgusting remark about the former world champion which we are unable to print.
He went on to call Joshua - who currently holds the IBF heavyweight title - as a “bum in a shower”.
The comments came when he was asked how he felt after Haye pulled out of facing Fury because of injury, and if there was any fighter he would want to fight if he had the chance.
There’s nobody really on my radar. Klitscho - I’d give him a beating again and then whoever really.Tyson Fury
He said: “I’ll fight anybody because that’s what I do, I’m a boxer. I’m a prize fighter, I get paid for fighting. That’s it really.
“There’s nobody really on my radar. Klitschko - I’d give him a beating again and then whoever really. There’s plenty of fighters out there. There’s Wilder, Ortiz, Joshua - there’s a few bums.
“At the end of the day they are what I say they are, all bums. Bare bums in the shower and there has been thousands of them.
“There will never be another one like me - ever.”
Fury, who says he takes his inspiration from God, is currently in training ahead of a rematch against former world champion Wladimir Klitschko.
It is thought the match could take place on October 29 in Manchester.
