Black Cats fans voted with their wallets and clawed in next season’s Sunderland home shirt in their droves as it was launched at the Stadium of Light.
The kit for the 2015/16 season went on sale at 9am on Thursday, with eager fans queuing up patiently outside the ground ahead of the unveiling.
The strip, once again made by manufacturer Adidas, bears the name of new sponsor Dafabet.
However, due to Premier League regulations the gambling company’s name is not on junior size shirts.
Adult replica shirts are priced from £49.99, whilst junior shirts are from £44.99.
Three-year-old Ethan Taylor was one of the first to get is hands on the shirt as he lined up with mum Lesley, 39.

“Ethan’s got his and also one for his dad Shaun for Father’s Day,” said Lesley, of Red House in Sunderland.
“He’s been really excited to come down.”
Pals Keily Willis, 28, and Claire Crosby, 29, both bought a shirt each, with Keily also getting a replica top for daughter Olivia, 11.
“I’ve heard a bit of mixed reviews as to what people think of it,” said Keily, of Downhill.
“The kids shirt looks a bit plain without the sponsor on but it’s still nice so my daughter will love it.”
Claire, of Red House, added: “I quite like it.”
Fans will be hoping for an improved season in the next campaign after the Black Cats once again narrowly managed to avoid relegation by finishing 16th.
Dick Advocaat’s surprise U-turn which has seen him sign a one-year deal as head coach of the Wearsiders has boosted hopes that the club can find stability in the Premier League.
Advocaat’s team will travel to Leicester City on the first weekend of the season, before home games against Norwich City and Swansea City. August is rounded off with a trip to FA Cup finalists Aston Villa.
A new away strip is also set to be revealed in the coming weeks, along with training wear for the upcoming season.
