Harry Redknapp has had a bizarre blast at Sunderland, calling them ‘horrendous’, hitting out at the recruitment and saying the centre-halves are poor.
In a strange video clip for Kicca conducted from his car in a car park, the former QPR manager ruled himself out of the running for the job and said he didn’t think Sam Allardyce wanted the job either.

Redknapp said: “I’m not in the running and I don’t know if Sam will want it either.
“Sam will be looking at it and thinking ‘can I keep these up?’.
“Every year they seem to be in the same position.
“I saw them at Bournemouth the other day and they were an absolute disaster. Bournemouth wiped the floor with them. They were horrendous. They haven’t recruited well.
“Whoever takes it has a tough job on his hands. They’re poor at the back, the centre-halves aren’t good enough, they’re short everywhere. There’s a lot of work to be done there.”
