Vintage cars of yesteryear – along with vans and buses – attracted a host of visitors the six-hour event in Washington.

There were also classic bikes to admire, workshops for visitors to take part in and piles of auto jumble to rummage through.

Keith Noble, 62, honorary president of the club, said: “The amount of enthusiasts who come, and the vehicles they come with, never ceases to amaze me.”

The club was set up in 1971 and meets at Wilden Road, on Pattinson Industrial Estate, where the show took place.
