THE pitter-patter of tiny webbed feet will be heard at Washington Wetland Centre this week.
Popular Downy Duckling days will run throughout half term, where tots can get close to fluffy newborn chicks.
Visitors can see tiny ducklings and goslings taking their first wobbly steps in the outdoor pens, and watch the five Chilean flamingo chicks as they find their feet with the adult flock.
Duckery talks are held every day during the half-term week from 1pm to 2pm.
The centre was highly commended in the Small Visitor Attraction category at the VisitEngland awards recently, and opened the Saline lagoon at the weekend.
