IT’S astounding to see that this quality of video game is available for the price of a sandwich, bag of crisps and a drink at lunch time.

Based on Robert Kirkman’s award-winning comic book series, the game plunges you headfirst into a world devastated by an undead apocalypse and forces you to make a series of horrifying choices in order to survive.

As convicted criminal Lee Everett, you’ve been given a second chance at life in a world devastated by the undead, but you’ll face a myriad of gut-wrenching emotional choices to move the incredible narrative onwards, many of which will impact on the outcome of later scenes in future downloadable episodes.

Mixing basic point-and-click adventuring with dialogue trees, The Walking Dead paints a brilliantly bleak universe where there is no ‘wrong’ or ‘right’ way to progress. Here, it’s all about the experience itself and, despite the morose nature of the content, there’s no doubt you’ll leave this world a much happier gamer.

 Well worth skipping lunch for...
