APPRENTICE hopeful Katie Bulmer-Cooke is still fighting for her place in Lord Sugar’s workforce.
The 28-year-old mum-of-one, from Ashbrooke, survived last night’s episode, which saw James Hill fired after a country fair task turned to mud-slinging in the boardroom.
The candidate from Chesterfield put himself in charge of his team, Summit, in a challenge to choose the best products to sell at a rural event, but took only £4,757 compared to rivals Tenacity who managed £30,615.
Project manager Hill blew their chances by missing out on an opportunity to win the right to sell hot tubs – the most lucrative product – after he called the salesman the wrong name, leading him to choose Tenacity.
Meanwhile Katie has taken Fit4Less gym, in Ellison Street, Jarrow, under her wing.
The fitness entrepreneur is helping director Charles Buchanan as she hires new staff for the new studio, which will be opened next year.
Katie is helping to recruit up to four part-time instructors who specialise in group exercise.
Katie said: “I’m really excited to be consulting for Fit4Less and launching their brand new fitness studio.
“I’ve recruited the best fitness instructors in the area and the timetable will boast the most cutting-edge classes.
“I’ve been working in the industry for 12 years. I’m certain that the members of Fit4Less are going the love this new addition to their membership offering, and it will be a real attraction for new members.”
