A TEENAGER has died after he was found with serious injuries in a city centre.
Orrin Douglas Walker, 16, of Hastings Avenue in Durham, is believed to have fallen from the railway viaduct in the city.
He was taken to the University Hospital of North Durham, where he was pronounced dead.
A spokesman for Durham Constabulary said: “Police were called to an address in Durham City just before midnight on Friday, January 3, where a 16-year-old boy was found with life-threatening injuries and later died in hospital. “There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a report has been prepared for the coroner.”
An inquest into Orrin’s death will be opened on Tuesday by the coroner at his offices in Crook.
