Teacher who battled back injuries among winners at Healthworks Awards

A WOMAN has paid tribute to a centre she says saved her life.

Julie Catterall had to give up her teaching job and was left almost housebound after an accident, which meant she needed a back operation.

The 58-year-old is still recovering but has found a new lease of life as a trainer and mentor at Healthworks in Easington Colliery.
