POLICE are searching for three girls who are believed to have smashed up a taxi shelter using a supermarket trolley.
The incident happened in the car park of Asda, in Peterlee, at about 8.15pm last Wednesday.
The trio were spotted running away from the scene after the vandalism was carried out.
A female shopper reported the incident to supermarket staff. However, her details were not taken and police investigating the attack in the hope that she and other witnesses will come forward.
