Over 20 meters of LED lights have been fitted to one of their eight- seater taxis which will be working as normal, travelling around Sunderland and the surrounding areas during the event to remind people about the spectacular displays along the seafront.

Trevor Hines, Managing Director at Station Taxis said: “We always like to promote local events as we are Sunderland's local taxi company.

"We understand how important it is for the Local Authority to gain support from business partners and organisations to bring innovative ways of developing and sustaining the event for years to come"

The event is set to be bigger and brighter than ever with an extended programme of lighting features, new installations plus some old favourites.
