BLACK Cats stars struck a pose as they prepared for SAFC’s charity fashion show.
Forward Fraizer Campbell and midfielder David Meyler tried on new threads ahead of SAFC Foundation’s Fashion Strikes event.
They were joined at Fenwick, in Newcastle, by Wearside Olympic boxer Tony Jeffries to get measured up.
Campbell said: “The Foundation does some great things and we raised £25,000 last year.
“It’s nice to see a few of the lads out of their comfort zones when they get up there.”
David, who took part in last year’s show, said: “I’m really looking forward to doing it again.
“It’s for a fantastic cause and it’s good to have a bit of a laugh with all the lads.
Jeffries said: “I’ve done them before and they were great.
“I remember I got a bit nervous before I did it because you realise people are watching you.
“But the Foundation is brilliant and it’s good to see a few of the players who I know so I’ll get to see them.”
The fitting provided a timely pick-me-up for injured striker Campbell, whose brother Ashford, 19, was voted off TV’s X Factor at the weekend.
Campbell said: “I was there last night and obviously I’m very proud.
“It was hard to speak to him on his own after he had that many people with him. I was up and down and getting a head rush just watching.”
Fashion Strikes takes place at the Stadium of Light on November 1.
