BLACK Cats will hope to turn catwalk kings as an evening of fashion and vintage carnival fun in aid of charity returns.
Players from Sunderland AFC’s first team will be among those taking part in the annual Fashion Strikes bash at the Stadium of Light on Monday, November 24.
The event, which this year will have a vintage carnival theme, is to raise money for projects run by Foundation of Light, which helps some of the North East’s most vulnerable children and adults.
The organisation needs to raise more than £3million every year through fund-raising to continue its work.
Guests will enjoy an evening of entertainment at the event, with a carnival games and activities taking place alongside musical entertainment as well as the fashion parade.
There will also be the chance to mingle with some of the club’s most famous faces, with SAFC players hosting VIP tables on the night.
Jemma Garrett, events co-ordinator at Foundation of Light, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming guests to what promises to be a really fun fashion event, with this year’s theme giving us the opportunity to bring all the fun of the fair to the Stadium of Light.”
“Fashion Strikes has sold out the last few years so we’re giving people the chance to get it in their diaries and book early to avoid disappointment.”
Tickets for the Fashion Strikes event cost £125 each or £1,000 for a table of 10. For more information or to buy tickets, call 551 5153 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
