A DAD left paralysed after a horrific road accident two years ago has died.
Keith Johnston, from Red House in Sunderland, was returning home after a fishing trip in Cumbria when his car skidded on ice and left the road.
His life was saved after a mystery passing doctor gave him life-saving first aid at the scene.
The father-of-three was left paralysed from the waist down by the ordeal and died in hospital on June 5.
By chance, a GP was driving past seconds after the horror and provided vital help to keep the building worker alive. An inquest into his death will conclude at Sunderland Coroner’s Court on July 18 and the coroner’s officers are urging members of Mr Johnston’s family to get in touch.
