GEORDIE Shore star Charlotte Crosby has been revealed as one of the contestants in this run of Celebrity Big Brother.
The 23-year-old former St Anthony’s School girl from Biddick Woods is sharing the house with dancer Louie Spence, football manager Ron Atkinson and model Sophie Anderton, among others.
The series returned to Channel 5 last night and producers are promising to keep the celebrity cast guessing with a string of surprises.
Charlotte, a former barmaid in city centre bar Ttonic, shot to fame on Geordie Shore. Her on-off relationship with fellow cast mate Gaz had viewers gripped.
Famously labelled as Cheryl Cole’s favourite, Charlotte loves to be the centre of attention and describes herself as fun, loveable, ditzy and laid back.
In April she was kicked out of the Geordie Shore house after a fight with Gaz when she caught him sneaking a party guest upstairs.
In scenes deemed too violent to be shown on MTV, Charlotte managed to pull a bed apart with her bare hands, breaking her foot in the process.
Also in the house is regular Sunderland visitor Bruce Jones, best known for playing cab driver Les Battersby in Coronation Street.
In 2010 he opened Sunderland bar Agadoo with Black Lace frontman Dene, choosing the city as a launchpad for a planned chain of nightspots.
Bruce left the Coronation Street in 2007 after making inappropriate comments to an undercover reporter and revealing future storylines.
Born in Manchester and brought up in Wales, his big break came in the 1993 Ken Loach film Raining Stones.
He has four children from two marriages and has also appeared in Band Of Gold and The Full Monty.
Earlier this year he told The Sun that he was working as a mechanic in North Wales for £120 a week.
