GARAGE staff got in the stocks to help raise cash for charity.
Workers at the Renault garage in Sunderland’s Wessington Way held a fun day to raise money for a mobile chemotherapy unit.
Some of the staff dressed up and the managers were put in the stocks for people to throw wet sponges at.
There were also activities, including a bouncy castle and a treasure hunt, for young visitors to the garage.
John Carr, a salesman at the site, said: “The chemotherapy unit will take treatment to people in their homes, if they are too ill to leavethe house.
“It was a really good day and everyone had a good time.”
