Sunderland AFC fans looking to roar their team towards safety on Saturday have been urged to secure their seats quickly.
Over 43,000 tickets have already been sold for the Black Cats’ crucial clash with Chelsea at the Stadium of Light.
Only a limited number of tickets remain available for the 3pm kick-off, which will see Sam Allardyce’s side aim to move out of the relegation zone.
The ticket office at the stadium will be open from 9am to 5.30pm throughout the week, and from 10am on the day of the game for ticket purchases and the collection of pre-booked tickets.
The club has warned that the ticket office and collection points will be “exceptionally busy” on Saturday, and there will be no cash turnstiles in operation, with fans “strongly advised” to buy tickets in advance.
The Fan Zone at the Stadium of Light, which is located at the south east corner of the stadium, will be open from 12pm on Saturday, with live music provided by Sunderland indie band Black Lines ahead of kick-off.
There will also be a range of entertainment for young and old, along with food and drink options. It will be open for an hour after the game, too.
