Students take food hygiene to the stage

PUPILS are taking to the stage to help teach children the importance of food hygiene.

Students from Durham High School for Girls have worked with Durham County Council’s food safety team to develop a performance aimed at raising awareness of good hygiene and healthy eating. It is part of a long-running partnership between the school and the council.

This year the drama group is performing its own food safety act, called Cinderella gets Salmonella, to children from 24 primary schools and fellow students at their own school, until tomorrow.
