WEARSIDERS can take part in discussions on where they live at two events next week.
State of the Area meetings are taking place at venues in Sunderland.
People can find out about what changes are being made by the city council.
They can also have their say about key issues affecting them such as policing.
The first of next week’s meetings, State of the Area Event – East, takes place at Ryhope Community Association, in Black Road, Ryhope.
The free event will be held from 6pm to 8.30pm, with those wishing to take part asked to arrive at 5.30pm.
Those from Doxford, Hendon, Millfield, St Michael’s and Ryhope wards should be looking to attend should they wish.
The State of the Area Event – West, is being held at Silksworth Youth and Community Centre, in Tunstall Village Road, on Tuesday.
Again, it will be held from 6pm to 8.30pm.
Those living in Barnes, St Chad’s, St Anne’s, Silksworth, Pallion and Sandhill wards should look to attend if they wish to have their say.
Recent events have proved popular with the Sunderland public.
All residents are welcome to attend the sessions.
