Southwick History and Preservation Society (SHAPS)will meet on Saturday, November 26, at 2pm in High Southwick Methodist Church, Thompson Road. There will be a talk by Phil Curtis on Fashions 1890-1970. Refreshments will be available. Visitors are welcome, pay £1. SHAPS 2017 calendars will be on sale, costing £4. Southwick Helping Hands held its annual Halloween party with more than 100 people attending. All the children looked amazing. Well done to Trinny, Alice and Louie, who won best dressed. Everyone had a great time. Many thanks to everyone who organised the party and helped out on the day.

The Salvation Army is launching its Angel Tree Appeal once again, after the amazing generosity of the public last year. If you would like to donate a new toy to the appeal, call into Austin House and take an Angel from the tree and donate to the children they represent.
