THREE people arrested in Seaham in connection with the fatal shooting of an elderly couple have been bailed.
Officers from Greater Manchester Police took the 36-year-old woman and 55-year-old man into custody on Tuesday on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
A 26-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
The arrests follow the deaths of Bob Seddon, 68, and his 65-year-old wife Patricia, in Sale, Manchester, in July.
The couple’s son Stephen, 46, also known as Nic, of Benevente Street, Seaham, is charged with their murder and attempted murder.
He denies the allegations and will stand trial in February.
