HAVE you been snapped with a star?

If you had your picture taken alongside a famous face, the Echo wants to hear from you.

Our popular Star Snaps feature is making a welcome return and needs your help.

Previously, readers have sent in photos of themselves in chance meetings with celebs including boxer and dancer Joe Calzaghe, presenter Jeff Stelling, Queen guitarist Brian May, Emmerdale actress Amy Nuttall, Tony “Baldrick” Robinson, stage and screen John Barrowman, Sunderland AFC players – past and present – and Tom O’Connor, of Name That Tune fame.

To start off we’ve searched out a few pics of Echo and Etc magazine writers.

Entertainments editor Katy Wheeler has been snapped with many stars, such as R&B artist Ne-Yo and McFly.

Features writer Marie Westmoreland is pictured meeting Vernon Kay – DJ and TV presenter and husband of Tess Daly – at last year’s Radio 1 Big Weekend, in Carlisle.

Finally, business reporter and sci-fi fan Kevin Clark is with Dr Who Matt Smith.

Now it’s your turn.

Whoever the famous face was, if you had your picture taken alongside them, the Echo wants to hear from you.

Send us your Star Snaps and we will publish them in the newspaper or on our website.

To get involved, just email your photos with your name and where you are from to tim.booler
@northeast-press.co.uk.

Mark the email star snaps, and provide your name, age and the part of Wearside or County Durham you are from.

If there is a tale behind the chance meeting, we’d like to hear that too.
