WE want to find the mum of the year.
The Echo today launched its search for a super special mum to be pampered like a princess this Mother’s Day.
Our annual I Love Mum competition which aims to find Wearside’s top mum in time for Mothering Sunday.
Has your mum battled an illness, devoted her life to helping others or done something extra special that makes her stand out?
If so, then we want to hear why you think she deserves to walk away with the crown.
We have teamed up with Hallmark Hotel in Carlisle to offer the winning mum a relaxing break away.
Situated in the centre of the picturesque city, the winner will be treated to an overnight stay for two people with a room upgrade included.
Homemade biscuits will be left in the room on arrival, and the winner will be able to treat themselves to early evening tapas in the bar or a three-course brasserie dinner.
A full English breakfast will also be included.
The hotel is just a five-minute walk from the pedestrianised city centre, the Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery and Carlisle Castle.
To be in with a chance of securing your mum this Mother’s Day prize, let us know what your mum has done to outshine the others.
