Tomorrow at 6pm at Parkside Community Centre, people have the opportunity of attending a meeting with representatives of police, Seaham and County Councillors to discuss issues in the area which are causing concern.
Seaham Branch of the Royal British Legion will hold its monthly meeting in The Farm Scouting Centre tomorrow at 7.30pm. New members are welcome.
It is with regret and great disappointment that Seaham Theatre Group has had to cancel its proposed production of Dick Whittington and his Cat.
Seaham Methodist Toddler Group has restarted after the recent building upgrade. The toddlers meet each Tuesday from 9.30am. Sessions cost £1. Places are available for new members.
Services at Christ Church, Station Road, for Sunday are: Holy Communion at 10am and evening payer at 6pm. St Andrew’s, Dalton-le-Dale will celebrate evening holy communion at 6pm. On a Wednesday morning there is a short service of holy communion held in Christ Church at 10am, followed by tea, coffee and a chat, subject to funerals. Everyone is welcome to come and join in the Fellowship.
Christ Church Toddler Group has a few vacancies. Have a word with Jane or one of the other leaders. The toddlers meet every Tuesday between 9.30am and 11.30am in Christ Church Hall.

St John the Evangelist will hold its annual Christmas fair on Saturday.
At 1.30pm on Saturday, Christ Church, New Seaham, will host its Christmas fair in the church hall, Station Road.
All Saints’ Church, Deneside, will hold a Christmas fair on Saturday, November 26, starting at 10.30am.
Joan Formosa gave an entertaining and informative talk to Christ Church Mothers’ Union on the aims and work of Fairtrade. A selection of Christmas goods, biscuits and chocolate were available for members to purchase with all money going to support Fairtrade projects.
Eastlea Community Centre’s Santa’s Grotto and Christmas fair will be held on Friday, December 2, from 4pm to 7pm, and Saturday, December 3, from 1pm to 4pm. You can book a table for £10 per day. For more information, contact 5812399.
