A SACKED club boss’ job has been advertised, despite the fact he has appealed against his dismissal, say his supporters.
Sixty-two-year-old Mick McGlasham is taking the Club and Institute Union (CIU) to an employment tribunal over his sacking in December.
Now the CIU has advertised an office manager’s post which Mr McGlasham’s supporters claim is to replace him and his deputy Maxine Murphy, who was also sacked.
The pair were dismissed after an investigation into misuse of a CIU credit card, despite an internal investigation concluding there was no evidence against them.
A CIU spokesman declined to comment until after the hearing.
