COULD Sunderland have the country’s biggest Harry Potter fan?
The search is on for the UK’s biggest fan of the boy wizard to mark 15 years of the first book being published.
Bloomsbury is inviting fans to write a letter of no more than 50 words explaining why they love Harry Potter and are looking for the most creative, clever and entertaining reasons.
Fans can enter by visiting a participating library or bookshop and posting their letter in the specially designed post boxes. Sunderland Libraries have post boxes at the city library, Bunny Hill Library, Houghton Library, Sandhill Centre Library and Washington Library. Entry forms can be collected from all libraries.
The competition runs until July 31 and winners will be announced in September.
The winner will receive a family holiday to experience the magic of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort, Florida and a leather-bound, signed, dedicated and numbered 15th Edition Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
Fourteen runners-up will also receive a leather-bound, signed, dedicated and numbered 15th Edition Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. For more information visit: http://harrypotter.bloomsbury.com/harrypottercompetition.
