A BOUNCER has denied he sent x-rated pictures of his former girlfriend to her force colleagues.
Darren McGuinness was arrested and charged by officers over harassing his former partner of nine years, by texting three naked images to 14 of her Northumbria Police colleagues.
He today told the Echo: “I completely deny all these accusations and will fight this all the way.”
The 37-year-old nightclub doorman, of Abercorn Road, Farringdon, is also accused of three charges – under the Malicious Communisations Act – of sending articles of an indecent or offensive nature.
It is claimed McGuinness also emailed pictures of the constable, who he shared his Wearside home with, to neighbourhood beat manager Pc Craig Sherrif, as well as Pc Graham Wilkie and Kalem Robinson.
His ex is understood to be based at South Shields police station, as were many of the officers alleged to have received the revealing pictures of her.
The constable is believed to be “mortified” by what is claimed to have happened.
The offences are alleged to have happened on December 8, last year, after the Wearside couple split up.
McGuinness is also accused of stealing his former partner’s Apple iPhone eight days earlier. He denies all the charges.
The case has been before Sunderland magistrates twice this week, and adjourned both times.
He has been given bail, on conditions of residence and not contacting prosecution witnesses.
A trial date has not yet been set.
At a previous court appearance, McGuinness admitted assaulting his former partner in Sunderland on December 3, last year.
He will be sentenced for that offence after the denied charges have been dealt with.
