Police are appealing for information after a theft in Washington.

On Wednesday, July 1, two Dewalt drills worth £280 was stolen from the B&Q store at the Armstrong Industrial Estate.

Enquiries are ongoing into the theft and officers have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to about the theft.

He was in the store at the time of the incident and police believe he may have information that could help with enquiries.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191 quoting reference number 823 01/07/15.
