A man who left his mum's house to visit a friend on Christmas Eve has sparked a police inquiry after he was reported missing.
Police are asking for help in tracing 41-year-old Lee Bartlett, who hasn’t been seen since Christmas Eve.
Lee, from Witton Gilbert, he was last seen by his mother, Jacqueline at her home address in The Crescent in the village just after 7am on Thursday, December 24.
Lee said he was going out to see a friend and expected to return later, however he did not mention who the friend was.
He was due to spend Christmas with his family but they have not seen him, or heard from him since the 24th.
Inspector Steve Long said; “His disappearance is said to be completely out of character and Lee’s family are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare."
When last seen he was wearing a light grey Superdry jacket with orange writing and dark tracksuit bottoms.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to ring police on 101.
