A NEW attraction has arrived at a community to give families the chance to get arty.
The craft cart has been set up at Laurel Avenue Children’s Centre in Durham, offering range of paint, glue, pens, pencils, play dough and other equipment.
Paul Midgley, senior lead professional, said: “Having the craft cart gives parents and carers the opportunity to try these valuable creative play activities at home at an affordable price.
“We really want to encourage creative play as it is so important to child development allowing little ones to try out new ideas and new ways of thinking and problem solving.”
Families who attend Kelloe and Sherburn Hill Children’s Centres can also order resources from the craft cart.”
