PANTO baddie Fleshcreep is cooking up some wicked tricks and dastardly deeds.
He’s building up his strength for a five-week panto stint of Jack and the Beanstalk at the Durham Gala Theatre by concocting his own stew with elephant, giraffe, monkey and peasant with a squirt of lemon for extra bite.
And he wants youngsters to share their favourite winter recipes with him and add them via his Facebook page by visiting www.facebook.com/galadurham.
He said: “What you need are strong hands to make sure the ingredients are well blended and limited gristle remains.
“With many giants now watching their waistlines the traditional, seasonal favourites of cottager pie, peasant kebab and wild animal stew have got to be low in fat but still pack a crunch and a punch with lots of flavour.”
Jack and the Beanstalk runs at the Durham City venue from December 1 to January 7. Tickets are priced from £8. To book, visit the Gala Theatre box office, call 332 4041 or go online at www.galadurham.co.uk
