Search engine Yahoo has revealed the top 10 questions asked by UK web users in 2015.

The list gives a view into issues which dominated headlines across the year, from the Charlie Hebdo attacks through to the solar eclipse.

"What is a meme" was also a key question, while the online "dress" conundrum also made the top 10. But one of the most gripping soap storylines of the year, who killed Lucy Beale in Eastenders, stormed to the top of the list.

The annual report from Yahoo also reveals the most searched terms, celebrities, sportsmen and news stories.
