The Easter weekend is almost here - but have you made your plans yet?

We might not be able to count on good weather, but what we can count on is plenty of things to get up to!

MAUNDY THURSDAY (March 24)

Mayor's Steam and Cream event at Ryhope Engine Museum, then Roker Hotel. Tickets: £15. Click here for more information.

LEGO Animal Brick Trail, from March 24 until April 17 at Washington Wetland Centre. Meet some awesome model animals and explore the centre. Tickets roughly between £8 and £9. Click here for more information.

GOOD FRIDAY (March 25)

Penshaw Bowl at Herrington Country Park from 1pm. Get rocking and rolling with this egg-citing and annual event. Free. Click here for more information.
