MUSIC lovers can enjoy an evening of Sunderland’s newest musical talent.
The New Sound of Young Sunderland is at the Royal British Legion, in Stockton Road, on Saturday.
The show starts at 7.30pm and there is a £3 entry fee.
The bands performing will be Spoken Words, Sons of Bido Lito and Aztec Birds as well as a DJ set.
The night is being presented by Sunderland music favourites Frankie & the Heartstrings and their record label Pop Sex, in a series of new cultural experiences.
Frontman Frankie Francis said: “We wanted to give three good local bands, who don’t usually get any publicity, the chance to perform a gig at an unusual venue for a fair door charge.
“We are trying to use our profile to give exposure to other acts.”
