New adult beginners’ ballroom and Latin class is to take place at the Glebe Centre every Wednesday from September 2, from 8pm-9pm.

Ta’i Chi classes are held at the Glebe CentrE on Wedensdays from 7pm- 8.30pm. Class costs £3.50.

Hawthorn Community Centre has activities for all: Tuesdays 10am- noon art class then craft class 7pm-9pm; Wednesdays (twice a month) coffee morning 10am on the second and last Wednesday of the month; Thursday line dancing at 7pm; Friday mother and toddler group 9.30am-11.30 am

Macrae House has a coffee morning on Mondays from 10am-11.30am. On Tuesdays it is crafting with Vicky from 10am-noon, carpet bowls 1pm-3pm and after-school club 4pm-5pm. On Wednesdays the Cree men’s group meets from 10am-noon and the Jolly girls 5.30pm-8.30pm. On Thursdays sensory room 10am-11am, Champions debt advice 10am-noon, Whoops training noon-3pm, Zumba for kids 4pm-4.30pm and Friday it is Murton Mums and creche 10-noon. Rooms are available for private functions at weekends.

Murton Cycle Club meets in the lounge at the Glebe Centre on Tuesdays from 9.30am-11.30am. Dog training classes are in the gym at on Wednesdays from 7pm-9 pm.

From next month New Hesledon Ladies’ Club will meet in Macrae House (Cornwall estate) on the first Thursday of the month from 6pm-8.30pm.

Saint Paul’s hall shop is open on Fridays from 9am-10am with the opportunity for coffee and meet friends in the fellowship room, or hunt for bargains in the hall.
