FAMILIES had a wizard time as characters from Harry Potter were brought to life as part of Halloween celebrations.
Muggles were able to meet the schoolboy hero, Hogwarts headteacher Dumbledore and gamekeeper turned professor Hagrid at the event at Dalton Park on Saturday.
The performance also included magic and audience interaction.
Bosses at the shopping centre say the event was a huge success, with footfall up 2 per cent compared to last year’s spooky spectacular.
The meet and greet sessions, held three times during the day, were run along side creative activities for children.
Centre manager Jerry Hatch said: “The craft events were mobbed, really popular, and the Harry Potter theme was a great success.”
