A WOMAN was cut free from her car which crashed into a row of garages after being involved in a collision with a 4x4.
The smash between the 27-year-old’s Peugeot and the Mitsubishi happened at a roundabout on Passfield Way, Peterlee.
The force of the impact caused the car to hit a row of garages down the road.
Firefighters cut the roof and windscreen from the car to free the woman and she was taken to Sunderland Royal suffering from back and neck injuries.
The 21-year-old driving the 4x4 had leg injuries but was able to get himself out his vehicle. He was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees.
