MISS England is polishing her crown in preparation for a Sunderland-based beauty pageant.
Charlotte Holmes, will be a judge at Miss 24 Carat contest, a qualifier for Miss England.
Set up by Jodie Breeds, who owns the 24 Carat salon in Grangetown, the contest gives girls from across the region the chance to compete in England’s biggest beauty pageant.
Charlotte will join the judging panel for the Miss 24 Carat finalists when they compete on April 13.
She said: “I’m really excited to come up and judge the Miss 24 Carat heat.
“I think it’s important to look at how much hard work the girls have put in at every level, especially at regional heat level. There have been some fabulous girls already, so I’m hoping there will be great things to come from the girls in Miss 24 Carat.”
The final is at Bannatyne Hotel, in Darlington. Tickets, £25, are available from 24 Carat salon in Windsor Terrace, Grangetown, or tel. 567 6565.
