A MAN has been questioned by anti-terrorist police as part of a race-hate probe which saw raids carried out across the north of England.
The 46-year-old, from Seaham, was arrested yesterday on suspicion of publishing or distributing written material which may stir up racial hatred.
Police have said the investigation relates to posts made on social networking sites.
The arrest by the North East Counter Terrorism Unit was one of a number made during yesterday morning.
The Seaham man has been released on bail as inquiries continue.
Four others men were also questioned and released on bail.
