Man had false hip knocked out in attack



A DURHAM man had his false hip knocked out of place after being attacked by two people.

The 35-year-old was walking on sports fields near the Co-op in Rowland Road, Brandon, Durham, on Friday evening when he was assaulted.

He was approached by two strangers at 5.45pm on Friday.

They punched him twice to the head, knocking him to the ground.

His false hip was dislocated when he fell to the ground.

Police are now investigating the attack and would like to hear from anyone with information.
