STUCK ON YOU

A NURSE superglued her boyfriend's eyes shut in revenge for him ogling girls on the beach.

DJ Lee Scullion felt the full fury of girlfriend Laura Dunn's scorn after their holiday row – waking up from an afternoon nap to find his face covered in glue.

Lee, who performs at Sunderland's Flares nightclub, had gone back to their hotel room after Laura accused him of paying too much attention to other bathing beauties at their resort in Malta.

But the 30-year-old woke up to find glue smothered over his eyelids, nose and mouth and his watch stuck to his wrist.

Then when he ran his hands through his hair, they became stuck on his glue-covered head.

Laura said: "He was paying too much attention to other girls on the beach and we had a row about it.

"He refused to stop looking at them and he wouldn't give me the attention I deserved. I decided to teach him a lesson to remind him not to look at other women."

Lee, who has a regular Friday night slot at the '70s venue, in High Street West, said Laura, 26, watched and laughed as he struggled to free himself.

He eventually made it to a nearby hospital where doctors peeled off the superglue, taking his skin with it.

The couple met in August last year at a club in Northumberland and decided to holiday on the Mediterranean island, where Lee was working as a DJ.

But Lee, of Red House, said the week-long holiday last month turned sour after Laura, who now works at a care home near Ashington, Northumberland, accused him of paying too much attention to the bikini beauties around the pool.

In the angry row that followed, Laura claims Lee said he had burned her passport, while Lee says his former girlfriend smashed his 650 digital camera.

He said there was no chance of them ever getting back together, while Laura said she would be happy if she never saw Lee again.

Laura told the Echo today: "We did fall out most of the week and weren't getting on. He was horrible to me.

"Everybody fights and breaks up. I just hope this doesn't affect my job."
