School teen wins modelling contest
From the classroom to the catwalk, schoolboy Aidan Brook is today unveiled as the Echo's Face of 2009.
The Tunstall teen is the first male winner of our annual model contest.
Proud parents Michael and Karen were on hand to congratulate him.

Aidan, 16, said: "There were a few nice looking women and I was pretty certain that it would be a girl who won, so I was shocked when I got the call."
The St Aidan's pupil was entered in the competition by dad Michael, who said: "It was a spur of the moment thing. I just took a couple of photos and emailed them in, but I knew he had a good chance."
Aidan will now join AM Model Agency for the next 12 months.
He said: "I definitely want to go further with modelling and I think I'll enjoy being in front of the camera."
