Roof-jump man hurt
A man is in hospital after jumping from a roof after a stand-off with police.
The 42-year-old got on to the roof of a house in Cookson Terrace, Chester-le-Street, at 11.20pm and jumped into a hedge after refusing to speak to officers.
He was taken to the University Hospital of North Durham for treatment.
