Models on the charity catwalk
Models took to the runway to raise more than £1,000 for charity.
Asda Boldon held a special BBC Children in Need fashion show to boost the coffers of the annual telethon.
The professionally produced show saw would-be models and Asda staff strutting their stuff in the new George autumn/winter range and exclusive BBC Children in Need products.
Fifty-one models took to the catwalk and events co-ordinator Tracey Tough said: "The show was brilliant and I was chuffed to bits with how it went.
"We were thrilled with the response from people wanting to take part, including two sets of identical twins.
"We were told by the organisers who'd done shows elsewhere beforehand that we had produced something to be proud of.
"Everyone who took part thoroughly enjoyed it."
The models were sponsored to take part in the show and there were plenty of Pudsey Bear collection buckets doing the rounds.
Mrs Tough added: "We raised about 1,000 on the fashion show itself and have been asked to go along to tomorrow's regional coverage on Children in Need at Hartlepool Maritime Experience."
Asda is one of BBC Children in Need's headline partners and has raised more than 8.4million during its involvement with the annual fund-raiser.
Anyone donating 5 or more to Asda's Children in Need fund from their own fund-raising event will receive a coupon for a free Pudsey pen (while stock lasts).
Just hand it over at customer services before November 24 in either the Boldon or South Shields stores.
