Girls net a double success
SPORTY girls at a Wearside school have proved they have their eyes on the ball.
Castle View School, Cartwright Road, Sunderland, celebrated a double sporting success in city-wide competitions.
The school's under-15s girls' netball team won the Year 10 City of Sunderland Netball League and the girls' under-13 football team won the Year 8 City of Sunderland Football Tournament.
Gillian Dickinson, a teacher at the school, said it was a big achievement for the girls and the school to take two titles.
She said: "There are different girls in each team and they all did really well."
