Youth centre appealing for new blood

A YOUTH centre is appealing for new blood to ensure its future success.

Peterlee Youth Centre leaders are encouraging people to attend its upcoming annual meeting and to join its management committee.

Chairman John Hardy says new faces and ideas are needed to help raise much-needed funds and awareness of their work. The youth centre, in Hailsham Place, provides a base for young people aged 13 to 19 to meet, learn music and take courses, five nights a
week.

The centre’s annual general meeting is being held on Wednesday, July 23, at the youth centre and starts at 7pm.
