POLICE and paramedics were called to a three-car crash next to Sunderland’s Nissan factory.

Officers from Northumbria Police attended Cherry Blossom Way in Washington at 3.25pm today after the incident.

A spokesman for Northumbria Police said: “A Ford Fiesta, Vauxhall Vectra and Ford Focus were involved in the collision.”

Paramedics were on scene to deal with any injuries.
