Superstar Ben Forster thanks Sunderland Echo readers after sister’s lost dog found in just one hour

SUPERSTAR Ben Forster has thanked Sunderland Echo readers after sister’s for their help in finding his sister’s lost dog.

The 32-year-old, who short to stardom after winning ITV’s Superstar competition in 2012, put out the urgent appeal after the pooch, Doogle, went missing near Herrington Contry Park last night.

A flurry of messages on Twitter and the Sunderland Echo’s Facebook page led to the lost hound being found.

Ben told followers on Twitter: “Wow we’ve got him!! DOOGLE is back! Quite far from home! Strange. But thank you all SO much! Everyone’s help found him! Love from my family!

“So impressed with twitter power! Doggle was found in one hour! After being missing all night! Thank you @SunderlandEcho and all that helped!”
